The Air Force’s top weapons' platforms still rely on Flowmaster's unique technology. The renowned Apache attack helicopter, the still-mysterious Stealth fighter and many other military applications have used Flowmaster technology for many years to aid in their missions. In a quest to help make the stealthiest even more unseen, technology was developed to help the aircraft remain unheard, as well.
With the Coast Guard’s mission of search and rescue, they needed quieter boats so they could better hear stranded boaters in the water. With the know-how and ideas to tone down the diesel’s exhaust while aiding in rescue missions, Flowmaster was able to assist the military to improve the Coast Guard’s already enviable record of saved lives.
Most remarkable is the choice that the company made to not use their ideas to ‘cash in’ on government funds, but to offer the technology to the military as a gift. The developer at that time felt it was his duty as an American citizen to help as only he could. In addition, all Flowmaster products are still made only in the USA, using US-produced steels and materials.
Flowmaster has used the same thinking that controlled the sound emissions of mighty fighter jets, attack helicopters and marine craft and has applied it to everything from the suburban neighborhood to the drag strips and race tracks of America and beyond, providing exceptional performance and sound control to vehicles of every type and size. Flowmaster is truly America's "Exhaust Technology Company”.
