Edelbrock's "RPM Dual-Quad Air Gap Manifold and Carb Kit" Is a huge hit among hot rodders and is the ultimate set-up for anyone who wants a dual-quad system. The base of the system is Edelbrock's popular "Air Gap" manifold design. The taller profile gives this manifold superior performance above 1,500 rpm. The unique Air Gap design allows cool air to flow between the intake runners and the hot engine valley to produce a cooler, denser charge. RPM Air Gap manifolds are based on the Performer RPM design that produces power from 1500 to 6500 in high performance street applications. The matched pair of Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS 500 cfm carburetors are specifically calibrated for dual quad applications. One is equipped with an electric choke, and one with a manual choke. The kit also includes Edelbrock's own high tech progressive linkage kit, Russell high performance fuel line, and Edelbrock intake gaskets.
