Belt driven fans should be no more than 1" from the surface of the radiator to work efficiently. Fan spacers from Flex-a-lite are the easiest way to achieve the proper fan-to-radiator distance. They are precision machined from aluminum and can be used alone or in multiples up to a maximum of 3".
