Hays 12-240 Steel billet flywheel
Fits 1965-1972, Ford 352, 390, 427, 428, 429 & 460 cu.in. V8s.
A new Hays billet steel flywheel will withstand the stresses of high rpm competition without coming apart. They are precision balanced to Detroit (external) specifications and certified under S.F.I. specification 1.1. Most of Hays' flywheels are drilled to accept both Long style or Bork & Beck style pressure plates and are available in weights up to 50 pounds.
Flywheel is thicker than stock. Possible interference between ring gear and bellhousing.
May require bellhousing spacing. Lakewood bellhousing will eliminate interferences.
