Moroso 22163 has 6061-T6 billet housing with three times larger mounting boss area to prevent breaking. Moroso 22163 features a thrust bearing assembly that increases housing and gear life due to drive shaft axial forces on the drive gear. Moroso 22163 weights 1 pound less than stock oil pump with pickup and the inlet area is increased to prevent cavitation. Moroso 22163 is engineered to fit 8" deep oil pans and pump will clear 4-3/4" stroke with most steel rods.
