"Purple Ice" radiator coolant by Royal Purple is a high performance synthetic additive for your radiator that will reduce engine heat by reducing the surface tension of the fluids in your cooling system. This enables improved heat transfer, optimum coolant flow, and helps to prevent the formation scale deposits in your radiator. It will also help to lubricate the seals in your water pump. Royal Purple's Purple Ice is compatible with most ethylene glycol antifreezes and GM's "Dex-Cool" and it should always be used in conjunction with antifreeze.
