Fits most Chevrolet V8s ARP's 134-1001 camshaft bolt kit delivers increased pre-load clamping force so you can be sure you get the accurate timing gear register that you need. The increased material strength of the 134-1001 overcomes the effects of valve train harmonics and stress. As an added feature the 134-1001 set includes oversized bolt head flange for cam button retention and a smaller socket head size for easy installation and removal. The 134-1001 are made from 8740 chrome-moly steel that has a rated tensile strength of 170,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treating which is hard on the tooling but results in threads with superior clamping force and accurate torque.
