The 254-5501 are far superior to any other main studs on the market. They have a tensile strength rating of 180,000 psi and all stud kits include chrome moly washers and nuts that provide even load distribution and accurate torque readings. The threads are rolled after heat treating, a process that is hard on the tooling but produces a much stranger thread.
