Howards Cams was founded in 1945 by Howard Johansen, as Howards Power and Racing Equipment. For over 65 years Howards has provided winning valve train components for almost every racing venue there is. From sportsman to pro we have the experience and machines to get you to the top of your game. In 1998 Howards Cams moved to a new retooled facility in Oshkosh Wis. Along with the latest in Landis CNC grinding machines and Adcole checking systems, came new products, and a new name of Howards Cams and Racing Components. Howards started making American connecting rods, crankshafts, main caps, and forged pistons.
